As part of the Mint team, my work is currently focused on characterising the biological activity of K1K1 in vitro and in vivo and studying its role as a potential drug in various pathologies. I also have strong expertise in the biology of the schistosome, a flatworm responsible for bilharzia (the world’s second-largest parasitic endemic), and in the in vitro and in vivo screening of new molecules directed against the schistosome.
